Country-music superstar Keith Urban signed his first major recording deal in Australia in 1990 and became a commercial success with four charted No. 1 hits. In pursuit of American success, Keith Urban relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1992 and found work as a guitarist for Brooks & Dunn. As front man of the trio The Ranch, Keith Urban disbanded the group after the release of one album to pursue a solo career.
In 1999, Keith Urban released his first solo album Keith Urban to American markets. Keith Urban spawned three Top 5 tracks, including “Your Everything,” “But for the Grace of God,” and “Where the Blacktop Ends.” Known for his guitar-playing abilities, Keith Urban also made guitar appearances on albums for the Dixie Chicks, Charlie Daniels, Garth Brooks, Emerson Drive, and Paul Brandt.
