How do I know that my transaction and personal information is secure and protected with OnlineTickets.com?

OnlineTickets.com does not collect personal information — names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses or credit card numbers — about you except when you specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis; like, for instance, when you participate in our auction, purchase sports or entertainment tickets, or make inquiries about ticket or reservation availability. OnlineTickets.com also maintains strict data security systems that ensure specific individual information will not be made available to any unauthorized person. We use a multi-level security system to control access to information stored for our customers. This is complemented with physical security of our facilities and limited access to certain critical areas.

How do I join?

To become a member, click on the text that reads "Join" on the navigation bar located on the top right of all common pages of the website. Fill in the registration e-form. Be careful to note that some of the information is required and must be filled in before submitting the form. After you have completed the e-form, click on the "Submit" button. The system will check that all required fields have been completed and notify of any information that remains to be entered. Upon submission of a completed form your membership will need to be activated before you can login. There is no charge to become a member.

How do I change or modify my contact information?

To change or modify your contact information, simply click on the "My Account" link and login to the system. Under the "My Account" section click on the text that reads "Edit Account Info". An e-form will be displayed that shows all of your contact information. Update the information as needed and click "Submit" when you are finished.

What if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your password you can use the password reset tool. A link to the lost password tool is located at the bottom of the login box. Click on the text that reads "Forgot your password?" and a new page will appear. Enter your email address (same as your user name) in the text box provided and click the "Submit" button. An email will be sent your email address containing a new temporary password.

Can I change my password?

Yes, you can change your password at any time. Simply click on the "My Account" link and logging in. Under the "My Account" section click on the text that reads "Change Password". A new page will appear, enter your old password and your new password into the text boxes provided and click the "Submit" button. After clicking "Submit" your password has been changed.

How are my tickets shipped?

OnlineTickets.com ships event tickets through Federal Express. You may also pick up your tickets in person – free of charge – at one of our physical OnlineTickets.com offices. For security purposes, all orders must be shipped to the billing address of the credit card used for purchase, unless expressly authorized by filling out this authorization form.

What types of payment do you accept?

OnlineTickets.com accepts all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover).

Where is the CSC code on my credit card?

For most credit cards, the CSC code is located on the back of your credit card’s signature strip. For American Express cards, they are the last 3 or 4 numbers located on the front of the card, above the last four numbers.

Do I have to pay a sales tax?

Most tickets that we sell are not taxed, except for Texas events as required by law. Also, generally any event that takes place within the Chicago city limits requires that we collect an entertainment tax that is variable up to 7%

How can I track my order?

Once you order your tickets, OnlineTickets.com provides you with a tracking number from Federal Express. Using this number, you can track your order online, by email or even through your mobile phone.

If an upcoming event is not listed on the site, can I request that OnlineTickets.com add it?

Yes. Our highest priority is customer satisfaction so if you don’t see an event on our Web site, feel free to email us or call us at 713-629-4747 or toll-free at 1-800-553-3049. We’ll be happy to assist you in making sure we provide the events you need.

Does OnlineTickets.com offer tickets to exclusive events?

OnlineTickets.com provides tickets to sold-out events as well as hard-to-find tickets for theater shows, sporting events and concerts. Many times we sell tickets to VIP suites, clubs and other venues for exclusive events. Check back often at OnlineTickets.com for your chance to buy tickets to these exclusive events.

Does OnlineTickets.com ship internationally?

How can I use a coupon, gift card or promotion code to purchase my tickets?

OnlineTickets.com has exclusive free promotional cards that may be used on a single basis. You can pick up one of these free promotional cards at OnlineTickets.com-sponsored events in select locations nationwide.

You may also purchase Gift Cards in any denomination as gifts for friends and family from any OnlineTickets.com office location or by phone at 1-800-553-3049. If not, please call our offices before buying your tickets so we may assist you with all options available. Please note that all sales are final, and we cannot issue refunds, cancellations or exchanges.

Will all of my seats be together?

Yes, unless you pair your tickets otherwise.

Why haven't I gotten my tickets yet?

If you haven’t received your tickets yet, and there is still significant time before the event you have purchased, there might be a delay with Federal Express or the vendor does not have the tickets in hand yet. However, if you have not received your tickets a week before the event, please contact OnlineTickets.com toll-free at 1-800-553-3049. If you purchased your tickets within a short period of time before the event and have not received them by the actual day of the event, please call us immediately.

I purchased tickets from OnlineTickets.com but cannot attend the event. What is your refund/return policy?            

Unfortunately, all sales are final, and we cannot issue refunds, cancellations or exchanges.

What if my event is cancelled?

For cancelled events, OnlineTickets.com will refund customers all charges, EXCEPT a 10% restocking fee.

What if my event is postponed?

If an event is postponed, you will not need to do anything. You may use the same tickets on the rescheduled date.

If a contingent event (such as, Game 7 of a playoff) is not played, will I get a refund?

Yes, OnlineTickets.com will refund customers all charges, EXCEPT a 10% restocking fee.

What if my tickets are lost or stolen?

Once the tickets leave our inventory, OnlineTickets.com cannot be responsible for or replace lost or stolen tickets. Please keep your tickets in a safe place in order to prevent loss or theft from happening.

I received an error while placing an order. What should I do?

You can email or call us at 713-629-4747 or toll-free at 1-800-553-3049 to see if your order went through. Then you may either proceed with your purchase online or a representative can assist you with the rest of your order on the phone.

Can I purchase a single or odd number of tickets?

In an effort to reduce the amount of single tickets leftover in our online ticket inventory, OnlineTickets.com generally offers an even number of tickets to our customers.  If you are looking for an odd number of seats not offered online, feel free to call 713-629-4747 or toll-free at 1-800-553-3049 to speak with an OnlineTickets.com representative who may be able to assist you.
Can I cancel an order?

Once you make a purchase online or by phone, all sales are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged.

I think I received the wrong tickets. What should I do?

Call us immediately at 713-629-4747 or toll-free at 1-800-553-3049. OnlineTickets.com cannot be responsible for any discrepancies if you do not contact us within 24 hours after receiving tickets.

Can I put tickets on hold?

Unfortunately, you need a credit card to hold tickets, and once they are on hold, we cannot cancel, exchange or refund them in the event you cannot attend the event. Please make sure you can attend an event before reserving your tickets.

Can I purchase an OnlineTickets.com gift card?

I have tickets to sell. Will OnlineTickets.com buy them from me?

We do buy and sell tickets on OnlineTickets.com and you may contact us at 713-629-4747 or toll-free at 1-800-553-3049 for more information. However, if we are not in need of tickets for a particular event, we can put your tickets on consignment and resell them for you.

What happens when you put tickets on consignment?

If OnlineTickets.com does not need tickets to a certain event, we may approve your tickets to be resold on our Web site, known as consignment.  Please note that consigned tickets may go unsold.  If you are interested in ticket consignment, contact us at 713-629-4747 or toll-free at 1-800-553-3049.

What is a ticket broker?

A ticket broker is defined as “one hired for a fee to negotiate purchases, contracts, or sales.” There are people who want to sell their tickets and there are also people who want to buy those same tickets. A ticket broker puts the buyers and the sellers together for a fee.
A ticket broker buys their stock from season ticket holders, public sales and other contacts. Most times, a ticket broker purchases these tickets for more than the face value printed on the tickets. They are resold to customers for a small profit in exchange for the convenience of not having to wait in lines or missing out on a sold-out, exclusive, or high-demand event.

Why are the tickets on your site listed above face value?

The tickets sold on this site are secondary-market tickets, or “brokered” tickets, that are sold for a price more than the face value printed on the ticket – known as "market value." The amount over face value is determined by seat location, demand and the cost to OnlineTickets.com for obtaining the tickets. Our ultimate goal is to provide our customers with the greatest selection of event tickets at competitive prices.

Is it illegal to sell tickets for more than face value?
