Lookin’ Good: Texans defense
After two quick Panthers touchdowns in the first quarter, the Texans defense arrived, allowing QB Matt Schaub and the offense to reel off 31 unanswered points. The Texans defense forced three third-quarter turnovers, sacked QB Jake Delhomme three times on the day, and held the Panthers scoreless until late in the fourth quarter.
Seen Better Days: Panthers ground game
The Panthers managed 76 total rushing yards – five more yards than Texans RB Ahman Green had in 15 attempts alone. The Panthers relied mostly on their passing game – throwing on 41 of 59 plays – with WR Steve Smith racking up 153 yards and all three of the Panthers TDs.

Matt Schaub is making himself at home running the offense after two stellar starts. Schaub amassed 227 yards passing including two touchdowns – both to WR Andre Johnson. Through weeks 1 and 2, Schaub has completed 72 percent of his passes and boasts a 111.4 rating to boot.
