For plenty of wild finishes and unbelievable trades, explosive superstars and talented rookies, pivotal wins and heartbreaking losses, the NBA is where it’s at! The 2011-12 NBA season looked to be lost in a labor dispute but both parties buckled down and got an agreement done in time to save basketball. LeBron James may have lead the Miami Heat to victory, but the road back to the NBA Finals will be harder than ever in 2012.   

As the 2012-13 season gets underway, the NBA Champion Miami Heat know better than to rest on their laurels as 29 other teams have retooled their rosters in the offseason. The Miami Heat are favorites to return to the NBA Finals but several new powers have risen to challenge the old guard. The duo of Carmello Anthony and Amare Stoudamire has resurrected the New York Knicks, while Derrick Rose has been the savior of the Chicago Bulls. The Boston Celtics and LA Lakers still have plenty in the tank as well but will need all their veteran experience to counter the young guns of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The NBA Western Conference is once again stacked with talent, with all 15 teams capable of making a formidable playoff run. In the East, the Miami Heat are clear favorites but the New York Knicks are not far behind in talent.
