Last season ended on a high-note as Bearcats QB Ben Mauk orchestrated a 31-21 victory over Southern Mississippi in the PapaJohns.com Bowl. In 2008, fans will watch the Cincinnati Bearcats battle rivals the University of Pittsburg Panthers and the University of Louisville Cardinals. On the hardwood at Fifth Third Arena, upwards of 13,000 dedicated fans and followers watched as Coach Mick Cronin, one of the NCAA’s young, up-and-coming coaches, steer his Bearcats basketball team to a 13-18 record. Fans enjoyed electrifying upset victories against No. 19 Villanova and No. 15 Pittsburgh Panthers. The Bearcats have added recruits Dion Dixon and Steven Toyloy to help the Bearcats avenge their loss against rival Xavier University in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout.
