Finding work on Music Row as a songwriter, Eric Church quickly caught the eye of many musicians and producers with his ability to write hit songs. The attention of a song he wrote for Terri Clark “The World Needs a Drink” landed Eric Church a recording contract.

In 2006 Eric Church debuted with album Sinners Like Me which was an instant hit. Much of this was thanks to debut single “How About You” which was a high-charting hit right out of the box.
