From the confines of Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina comes the Meineke Car Care Bowl. The speed of the ACC will meet the rising powers of the Big East in a contest of wills and styles that will bring fans to their feet. Begun in 2002, the Meineke Car Care Bowl has hosted some amazing games and made history along the way. Past MVPs of the Meineke Car Care Bowl to play in the NFL include Matt Schaub, Wali Lundy, and Kenneth Moore.
In the 2007 Meineke Car Care Bowl, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons took on the Connecticut Huskies. After falling behind early, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons screamed back to put up 24 unanswered points in the second half to win the 2007 Meineke Car Care Bowl. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons WR Kenneth Moore won the Meineke Car Care Bowl MVP and was later taken in the 2008 NFL Draft.
In recent years the Big East has become a NCAA football powerhouse and will look to prove their worth against the elite ACC in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. The battle of the old guard and the new will make for intriguing possible match-ups.
