Hailing from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, Michael Buble grew up listening to the classic jazz standards in his grandfather’s collection. This early education enabled Michael Buble to succeed later in his career as a Big Band Revivalist. Michael Buble’s smooth vocal styling can transport anyone back to a simpler time, a time when Frank Sinatra and Cole Porter were kings.
Michael Buble’s career took off after he secured a gig as the wedding singer for Caroline Mulroney, the daughter of Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. It was there that Michael Buble met an executive at Warner Bros who was interested in signing him. In 2003, Michael Buble released his first album of standards including the songs “Fever,” “For Once in my Life” and “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart.”
In 2005, Michael Buble released his second studio album It’s Time. The album peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. It’s Time features covers of such famous songs “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” and “Try A Little Tenderness.” The album also contained the original song “Home,” which was co-written by Michael Buble.
Michael Buble released his third album Call Me Irresponsible in 2007. The album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 and sold over 1 million copies in the U.S. alone. Call Me Irresponsible features two songs co-written by Michael Buble “Lost” and “Everything.” In addition to old standards, the album also features cover versions of Leonard Cohen’s “I’m Your Man” and Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight.” Michael Buble is currently on tour in support of Call Me Irresponsible so order Michael Buble tickets from OnlineTickets.com today!
