At the age of 15 Rihanna Fenty was discovered by music producer Evan Rogers. When music mogul Jay-Z heard a sample of Rihanna’s music, he immediately signed her to Def Jam Recordings. The hit single “Pon de Replay” from Rihanna’s debut album Music of the Sun shot into the Top 10 in 15 countries. Rihanna’s second album A Girl Like Me yielded the No. 1 hit single “SOS” and the Top 10 single “Unfaithful” which was written by Ne-Yo.

The 2007 album Good Girl Gone Bad has produced five hit singles for Rihanna including the most successful song in the world for 2007 “Umbrella”, “Don’t Stop the Music” and most recently “Take a Bow”. Good Girl Gone Bad which featured an appearance from Justin Timberlake on the song “Rehab” was re-released in 2008 as Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. The re-released album includes Rihanna’s duet with Maroon 5, “If I Never See Your Face Again”.

In 2008 Rihanna performed as one of the featured acts on Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark tour along with Lupe Fiasco and N.E.R.D.
