Clad in all black, Ron White is prepared to unleash the blunt humor that has come to categorize the comedian. Ron White, originally from Fritch, Texas, has risen to national prominence due to his participation in the nationally syndicated comedy show the Blue Collar Comedy and its corresponding Blue Collar Comedy Tour, featuring his stand-up co-stars Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy.
Following the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Ron White released his first solo CD Drunk in Public in 2003 which still finds its home on the Billboard Top 10 Comedy Charts. A few months later, Ron White hosted his debut solo comedy special entitled They Call Me Tater Salad, which was later released on DVD and sold over a million copies. In 2004, Ron White – in collaboration with the WB – aired The Ron White Show in which four million viewers tuned in.
Ron White’s solo success kept at an upward incline with his next stand-up special You Can’t Fix Stupid filmed in 2006. The one-hour comedy act You Can’t Fix Stupid honored Ron White with his first Grammy Award. After the release of his best-selling book, Ron White went on a reunion tour with the Blue Collar boys for the Blue Collar Comedy Tour-One for the Road. Ron White began working on material for his first HBO series show that is set to air sometime in 2008 or early 2009.
With fans able to quote Ron White word for word from classics like You Can’t Fix Stupid and They Call Me Tater Salad, it was only a matter of time before some new material came down the pipe. The 2009 comedy special Ron White: Behavioral Problems will be packed with lines that fans will be quoting (or misquoting) for years. Obviously much more alive than some zany rumors would indicate, Ron White will tour the U.S. in 2009. Order your premium Ron White tickets securely from OnlineTickets.com today!
