A few friends and i always get tickets and make the trip down from san antonio to see alan jackson. love it when he comes to rodeo. i think 'country boy' is hilarious and 'small town southern man' is another great AJ song.

Its good to see Alan back at the rodeo. I saw him in 2008 and he brought the house down, everybody was singing along. Maybe George Strait will make the show too.

Alan Jackson sprung into the 1990s riding the new wave of Country music that he himself helped launch. The Georgia musician hit double platinum with debut album Here in the Real World. No. 1 hit “I’d Love You All Over Again” was the first of more than 20 No. 1 hits for Alan Jackson. Follow-up album Don’t Rock the Jukebox would be a quadruple-platinum success. The title track joined “Someday”, “Dallas”, and “Love’s Got a Hold on You” as No. 1 hits, and Alan Jackson was officially a superstar.
“Chattahoochee” and “She’s Got The Rhythm” were two No. 1 hits to launch the next Alan Jackson album A Lot About Livin’ (And A Little ‘Bout Love). Thanks to other classic songs like “Mercury Blues” A Lot About Livin’ went six-times platinum. Alan Jackson had his signature album with Who I Am. No. 1 singles “Gone Country” and “Summertime Blues” are still both radio and jukebox favorites. The infectious lyrics and rhythms of “Summertime Blues” made the song a crossover hit that appeared in commercials and TV shows as well.
The multi-platinum success for Alan Jackson continued with the Everything I Love album. The No. 1 singles kept coming with “There It Goes” and “Little Betty”. A trio of albums When Somebody Loves You, High Mileage, and Under The Influence were all platinum sellers as well. In 2002, Alan Jackson released opus Drive, boasting his most popular single to date “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)”. Thanks to the patriotic and beautifully written No. 1 hit and another No. 1 in “Drive”, Drive went four-times platinum.
Well into the 21st century, Alan Jackson continues to produce platinum albums like cotton candy at a state fair, including What I Do and Precious Memories. Alan Jackson joined fellow modern Country icon George Strait for the hard-hitting single “Murder on Music Row”. Alan Jackson’s latest album Good Time is well on its way to platinum thanks to No. 1 single “Small Town Southern Man” along with “Country Boy” and the title track. In support of Good Time, Alan Jackson will be on tour in 2009. Order your premium Alan Jackson tickets from OnlineTickets.com today!
