This was in part due to singles “Please, Please Baby” and “Little Sister”.

Dwight Yoakam scored two No. 1 hits with “The Streets of Bakersfield” and “I Sang Dixie”. The singles helped Buenas Noches From A Lonely Room become another platinum Dwight Yoakam album. Dwight Yoakam released his critically acclaimed, triple-platinum album This Time and had his signature album. This Time had three-straight No. 2 hits in “Ain’t That Lonely Yet”, “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere”, and “Fast As You”.
