Hailed as one of the biggest rock groups in the ‘70s and ‘80s, Foreigner continues its reign in the rock-music scene! Originally forming in New York City, Foreigner paid their dues until the band made it big with the smash hit “Feels Like the First Time.” Foreigner would finish out the ‘70s with a flurry of successful singles, including “Cold as Ice” and ending with “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” and “Head Games.”
In the 1980s, Foreigner dominated the airwaves with hits such as “Jukebox Hero,” “Waiting For a Girl Like You,” and “Urgent” from the album 4, followed by the album Agent Provocateur, which spawned the immortal hit “I Want to Know What Love Is.” After a brief hiatus in the late ‘80s, Foreigner came back with the hit singles “Say You Will” and “I Don’t Want to Live Without You.”
In 2007 classic rock audiences were treated to the show of a lifetime when Foreigner – celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s founding – joined forces with rock legends Styx and Def Leppard. Foreigner ended the year on a high note when they joined Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, Peter Townsend, and Paul Nutini as openers for the exclusive one night only Led Zeppelin reunion.
