I was at the concert at Treasure Island Casino in MN. It was by far the best concert I have ever attended. The sound was amazing and I was impressed considering they had to borrow instruments due to a tornado.

I attended the concert at the House in Blues in AC. I was disappointed in the quality of the sound. The vocals were muffled and the instruments were tinny. We left early. The opening band was very very good, however. For some reason their sound system was much clearer.

With a sound that calls up the spirit and lyrics of the Outlaw Country stars of the 1970s, Gary Allan has managed to walk the line between mainstream and old-school. Since first releasing album Used Heart For Sale in 1997, Gary Allan has ruled the radio with singles like “Her Man”. Album It Would Be You soon followed with single “It Would Be You” being another hit. After doing his time on the indie labels, Gary Allan finally got the chance to hit the majors.
Smoke Rings In The Dark would go platinum thanks to hits like “Right Where I Need To Be” and “Smoke Rings In The Dark”. Gary Allan followed that with more platinum in album Alright Guy. No. 1 single “Man To Man” and Top 10 single “The One” officially made Gary Allan a mainstream superstar. The success would be even greater with the excellent See If I Care album, which featured No. 1 singles “Tough Little Boys” and “Nothing on but the Radio”. “Songs About Rain” became a heart-wrenching signature ballad.
Gary Allan had his most emotional and critically acclaimed album with the beautifully crafted Tough All Over. Led by single “Best I Ever Had”, Tough All Over was an unfiltered insight to a man in deep emotional pain. “Life Ain’t Always Beautiful” was another sad song with deep lyrics, while “I Just Got Back From Hell” continued the therapeutic songs. With his heart on his sleeve, Gary Allan perhaps had the best album of his career with Tough All Over.
After Gary Allan released his Greatest Hits in 2007, he also released his latest studio album Living Hard. The No. 2 hit “Watching Airplanes” launched the album, and Gary Allan soon dropped single “Learning How To Bend”. With a new album coming out in 2009 and a recent hit in “Today”, Gary Allan continues to win over fans with his emotional brand of Country. With a discography full of gold and platinum, Gary Allan will once again be on tour in 2009.
