The Hush Sound is making plenty of noise after debuting with So Sudden, an album title that perfectly described The Hush Sound’s rise to stardom in such a short time. Comprised of vocalist/guitarist Bob Morris, bassist/vocalist Chris Faller, drummer/vocalist Darren Wilson, and vocalist/classical pianist Greta Salpeter, The Hush Sound boasts an unparalleled alternative rock sound.
In 2005, the rock quartet debuted with So Sudden, which featured the single “Crawling Towards the Sun.” Even without label support, The Hush Sound went on two sell 300 albums in just two nights. So Sudden would catch the attention of Panic at the Disco’s Ryan Ross and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and, soon after, Pete Wentz would sign The Hush Sound to his Decaydence Records label.
The Hush Sound is no stranger to the road, having toured in 2006 during the Black Clouds and Underdogs arena tour featuring headliners Fall Out Boy and All-American Rejects and up-and-coming acts Hawthorne Heights. After releasing Like Vines in 2006, The Hush Sound hit the tour trail once again alongside Panic at the Disco before traveling with Daphne Loves Derby, Boys Like Girls, Hellogoodbye, Rooney, and Phantom Planet on subsequent tours.
The Hush Sound’s third studio album Goodbye Blues hit the stores in March 2008. Hear The Hush Sound's new songs such as leadoff single “Honey,” “As You Cry,” “Love You Much Better,” “The Boys Are Too Refined,” and “Medicine Man” performed live during the Summer 2008 Dance Across the Country Tour.
