KISS mania is still going strong as the hard-rockin’ foursome heads back on the road in 2009 with a mind-blowing stage show in tow. But even the pyro, theatrics, and face paint cannot match the live power of hits “Rock’n’Roll All Nite,” “Detroit Rock City,” and “Beth” when Gene Simmons gets an arena rocking.
Boasting over 80 million records sold and a hefty catalog of hit albums, KISS has solidified its name in Rock greatness. KISS will celebrate the 35th anniversary of landmark album Alive! with the “Alive! 35” tour. Order your premium KISS tickets from OnlineTickets.com today!

Donning the leather, spikes, platform shoes, and black and white face paint, the foursome known as KISS have completely dominated the live-performance arena, providing audiences with a hotter-than-hell pyrotechnic performance since the 1970s. Catch frontman and bassist Gene Simmons spitting blood and breathing fire into an audience filled with avid, face-painted followers.
The masked members of KISS – Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss – released their debut album in 1974, continuing to build on a sound that combined anthemic Hard Rock with Pop-Metal. KISS continued to tour, building up a substantial fan following. The 1975 album Alive! propelled KISS into superstardom on the strength of smash hit “Rock’n’Roll All Nite.” The follow-up album Destroyer was the band’s first platinum hit, which featured the Top 10 single “Beth” and “Detroit Rock City.”
In 1983, KISS received a surge of renewed interest after the release of Lick It Up. This time, KISS trashed the face paint and relied solely on their music to earn its first gold record in four years. After releasing Animalize, KISS would undergo a carousel of personnel changes, with Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons remaining as the only two original performers of the Rock group.
With the KISS Army occupying every country in the world, KISS can sell out even the biggest venues in the farthest reaches of the globe. The pure spectacle of a KISS live show full of effects is still the preeminent visual display of Rock, with even newer showmen Slipknot and GWAR falling short. KISS announced the “Alive! 35” tour for 2009 that will see the band play breakthrough album Alive! in its entirety for several dates. Buckcherry will be onboard as an opening act.
