The legendary rock group Queen and Paul Rodgers – one of the most loved voices of the ‘80s – are crossing paths and joining forces once again. With a Queen + Paul Rodgers 2008 Concert Tour lined up, Queen – hailed as rock giants for their classic hits “We Are the Champions,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” and much more – will herald in their first studio album since Made in Heaven some 13 years ago.
Paul Rodgers is best known for his work in the ‘70s and ‘80s with bands like Free and Bad Company as well as a Grammy-nominated solo career to boot. As a part of these golden groups, Paul Rodgers released some of music’s most influential rock including singles like “All Right Now” and “Feel Like Making Love.” After a brief stint with The Law in the ‘90s, Paul Rodgers returns as the front man for Queen.
Paul Rodgers – who toured with Queen during their wildly successful 2005-06 World Tour – will join Queen on the road once again. In 2005, Queen + Paul Rogers set off on a world tour playing original Queen set lists which included songs like “Fat Bottomed Girls”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” as well as Bad Company and Free favorites to boot. Together, Queen guitarist Brian May, Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers have collaborated once again, recording their first album set for a pre-tour debut.
