Since first igniting the rock-music scene back in the ‘90s, Radiohead continues to offer fresh new sounds album after album. Influenced by the early post-punk bands of the 1980s, Radiohead would go on to be a driving influence on a new generation of music. After escaping the grunge label with The Bends, Radiohead was able to launch the genre-shattering OK Computer which further experimented with guitar, electronics, and dense sound. With singles like “Paranoid Android” and “Karma Police” placing well on charts, OK Computer reached platinum status in the US and abroad. While countless bands have cited OK Computer as one of their biggest influences, Radiohead’s follow up Kid A debuted in the US at No. 1, a first for the British quintet.
