When you think of classic rock, The Steve Miller Band comes to mind. After opening for acts like The Supremes and the Four Tops, Steve Miller moved to San Francisco and formed The Steve Miller Band. The quartet started out backing for Chuck Berry but soon gained enough notoriety to record their first album Children of the Future.
The Steve Miller Band released their debut album Children of the Future in 1968. Soon after, The Steve Miller Band released Sailor which climbed the Billboard charts all the way to No. 24.
