The Bravery Tickets

The Bravery was born when front man Sam Endicott and John Conway began playing in local bars while in college together. After making the move to New York City Sam Endicott put his songwriting skills to use and began to recruit other members. By 2003 The Bravery consisted of guitarist Michael Zakarin, bassist Mike Hindert, and drummer Anthony Burulcich.

In November 2003 The Bravery began to play gigs in local venues. To promote their shows The Bravery produced 1,000 posters and three song samplers to use for publicity in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. After only a few months of selling out small venues, The Bravery found a home at a Lower East Side club where they continued to sell out shows. The consistency of The Bravery attracted the attention of many record labels and radio stations.

In August 2004 The Bravery signed a deal with Island Def Jam and British label Loog Records. By early 2005 The Bravery had been tabbed as an artist to watch by Rolling Stone and MTV. Local magazine The Village Voice labeled The Bravery as “New York’s Official Next Big Thing”. Riding the wave of such critical acclaim The Bravery released their debut album The Bravery and embarked on a world tour.
