After eight consecutive playoff-bound seasons, the Sacramento Kings have now missed the postseason two years in a row. Riding a youth movement, the Kings made some noise in the offseason – shipping forward Ron Artest to the Houston Rockets and handing the reins to young gunner, Kevin Martin.
Martin will headline a talented cast of up-and-comers, including Beno Udrih, Francisco Garcia, and John Salmons, among others. Rookies Donte Greene and Jason Thompson should be exciting to watch as well.
