My Wish: Background
Popular country trio Rascal Flatts – Jay DeMarcus, Gary LeVox, and Joe Don Rooney – released “My Wish” as the third single from their 2006 album Me and My Gang. Penned by Jeffrey Steele and Steve Robson, the lyrics for the country song “My Wish” are very touching and inspirational; the song has been used as a theme song for ESPN’s My Wish segment, which features the Make a Wish Foundation pairing up with sports athletes to help make children’s dream come true.
