It’s About Time Album Review

The Jonas Brothers: Initial Release
The Jonas Brothers – Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas – spent much of 2005-06 on the road, touring with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Jesse McCartney, The Click Five, and the Backstreet Boys. After their whirlwind touring schedule, the Jonas Brothers would release their debut album It’s About Time on top Christian label, INO Records, in August 2006. It’s About Time fared well in the Christian-music genre.

The Jonas Brothers worked with several writers for It’s About Time, who have written for Fountains of Wayne, Joss Stone, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Destiny’s Child, and Jessica Simpson. Leadoff single “Mandy” was released in late December 2005, and “Time for Me to Fly” appeared on the Aquamarine movie soundtrack.

The Jonas Brothers soon inked a new deal with Daylight/Columbia Records. It’s About Time was re-released with a slightly altered song list. After the Jonas Brothers jumped to Hollywood Records, the It’s About Time CD can no longer be sold. Jonas Brothers: On Tour
The Jonas Brothers’ first tour started in November 2005. In January 2006, the band’s second tour was titled Jonas Brothers American Club Tour.
