Taylor Swift Tour: Fearless Tour 2009

Taking her hit CD Fearless on tour in 2009, Taylor Swift is sure to set records & sell out tickets nationwide!

Taylor Swift: About the Album

Taylor Swift shot to the top of the Country-music scene with her debut CD Taylor Swift, which spawned radio and fan favorites "Tim McGraw," "Teardrops on My Guitar," "Should've Said No," "Our Song," and "Picture to Burn." It would only take Taylor Swift's sophomore effort Fearless to catapult her to Country-Pop crossover superstardom.

Released in November 2008, Fearless debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart and was the highest debut for any Country artist that year. As the album flew off of the store shelves, hundreds of thousands of digital copies of the album were sold as well. During its debut week, Fearless charted a record-tying seven songs, including leadoff single "Love Story" and follow-up single "White Horse."

Taylor Swift: Going on Tour

After announcing her first-ever headlining tour in January 2009, concert tickets for several tour dates and venues quickly sold out. Taylor Swift's Fearless Tour 2009 will travel to over 50 cities across North America. During her Houston Rodeo debut, Taylor Swift drew in the eighth-largest crowd in RodeoHouston history with 72,658 ticketholders in attendance, edging out fellow RodeoHouston first timers, the Jonas Brothers.

Taylor Swift: Tour Mates

In the past, the Country starlet has drawn in plenty of fans young and old, opening for the likes of George Strait, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, and Rascal Flatts. Now, Taylor Swift will be the main attraction, inviting opening acts Kellie Pickler and rising Country group Gloriana on board the tour ticket. On select dates, Taylor Swift will join Keith Urban as his opening act during his 2009 tour.

Taylor Swift: About the Tour

Fans with Taylor Swift tickets can expect almost a theatrical presentation mixed with graphics and sets designed by Taylor Swift herself. Radio-friendly hit songs "Tim McGraw," "Should've Said No," "Our Song," "Teardrops On My Guitar," and "Picture to Burn" are sure to make their way onto the concert set list. However, the songs from Fearless, including "Love Story," "White Horse," "Fifteen," "You Belong with Me," "You're Not Sorry," "Forever and Always," and more, will enjoy the spotlight.
