Cirque du Soleil Zumanity is brought to life by a diverse cast of characters, ranging from flirty and voluptuous to devious and naughty. Cirque du Soleil Zumanity features contortionists, hoop performers and aerial dance performers who meander into sensual poses and artistic positions. Cirque du Soleil Zumanity is unlike any other Las Vegas cabaret-style performance because they feature people of all sizes, backgrounds and persuasions.

Cirque du Soliel Zumanity’s main theme is love and explored through seemingly unrelated acts of diverse sensual interplay. Cirque du Soliel’s cast of characters include many diverse roles from the androgynous to lust filled new lovers. Each act embodies a different level of love dissolving identity.
Cirque du Soleil Zumanity: Costumes
When designing the costumes for Cirque du Soleil Zumanity, provocative French fashion designer Theirry Mugler had a specific vision in mind. He wanted to create a mix of luxury and edgy eroticism for Cirque du Soleil Zumanity without appearing too pretentious. Even the raciest Cirque du Soleil Zumanity costumes are tasteful yet evocative. Mugler created an array of costumes for each Zumanity scene including sexy bodices, bejeweled jockstraps, fur and feathers. Cirque du Soleil Zumanity’s head of wardrobe Jack Ricks says, “We had very detailed sketches and worked very closely with Thierry to recreate his exact designs to fabric.” The Cirque du Soleil Zumanity team searched the world for the best possible materials, from silk and lace in Paris to gloves in Portugal.
Cirque du Soleil Zumanity: Music
Not surprisingly, Cirque du Soleil Zumanity features an exotic variety of musical genres performed by the Zumanity Orchestra. The Cirque du Soleil Zumanity soundtrack includes a mix of rock, classical, urban, tango, salsa, waltz, African dance, and other world music influences. The Cirque du Soleil CD includes only two songs from the original performance and the rest are pieces inspired by different acts in the Cirque du Soleil Zumanity show. Both the CD and the Cirque du Soleil Zumanity Las Vegas show feature seductive lyrics, heart pounding rhythms and sultry melodies.
