Brock Lesnar: Early Life
Even before his teenage years, Brock Lesnar was a dominant wrestler. As Brock Lesnar continued to grow older, his body changed to become larger and larger and soon Brock Lesnar was the ultimate physical specimen. Beyond the great strength in his body, Brock Lesnar was also a solid natural wrestler and had instincts that no coach could teach. The pure ability of Brock Lesnar matched with his killer instinct led to him posting a 33-0 record as a senior in high school.

Brock Lesnar: College Wrestler
Brock Lesnar began his career in the junior college ranks where he quickly proved to be one of the best the NJCAA had ever seen. The hulking physique of the heavyweight Brock Lesnar made him somewhat of a legend in the American North and he backed up the look with two-straight NJCAA All-American awards. The elite NCAA wrestling program of the Minnesota Golden Gophers came calling, and the legend of Brock Lesnar continued to grow.

Under the tutelage of fellow future WWE wrestler Shelton Benjamin, Brock Lesnar soon victimized the NCAA as well. The longstanding rivalry between the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Iowa Hawkeyes was changed when Brock Lesnar dominated the mat. At the end of his NCAA career, Brock Lesnar had a career record of 50-2 and was awarded the NCAA Heavyweight Championship in 2000.

Brock Lesnar: WWE
Brock Lesnar followed his mentor Shelton Benjamin to the WWE, and the monstrous ability and appearance of Brock Lesnar quickly made him a sports entertainment star. Brock Lesnar would win the WWE Title on three separate occasions and helped sell a ton of Wrestlemania tickets during his tenure. All through his WWE career, Brock Lesnar longed to return to pure athletic competition, and it was rumored that he would jump to MMA in some form or another. Even though he was the biggest draw in the WWE, Brock Lesnar turned in his resignation.

Brock Lesnar: MMA
After a short career in the NFL, Brock Lesnar realized that his true passion was one-on-one competition. Fans with UFC tickets speculated for years that Brock Lesnar would make the transition to MMA, and he finally did. Brock Lesnar entered the MMA world in 2007 in the K-1 fighting organization. His debut match against Min Soo Kim was basically a sanctioned mugging, and Brock Lesnar destroyed his opponent in just over a minute.

Brock Lesnar: UFC
Fans with UFC tickets flipped when they heard that Brock Lesnar was coming to UFC. Many believed that Brock Lesnar would have success akin to another traditional wrestler who dominated UFC from his debut, Randy Couture. Brock Lesnar made his debut at UFC 81, but he was not given a “powder puff” opponent but a former UFC Heavyweight Champion in Frank Mir. Brock Lesnar physically dominated Frank Mir, but the experienced MMA fighter slipped in a quick kneebar that caught Brock Lesnar off guard. Frank Mir picked up the win, but Brock Lesnar was not done.

Brock Lesnar returned to the Octagon and rewarded fans with UFC tickets by fighting veteran MMA star Heath Herring. The contest between the two was long, and neither athlete gave an inch. The Lesnar/Herring fight went all three rounds, and it came down to judges decision. Brock Lesnar was awarded the win and proved that Brock Lesnar had the technical ability to outscore an MMA opponent and was more than a powerhouse.

Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Couture
At UFC 91, Brock Lesnar will face the biggest challenge of his life as he goes for the UFC Heavyweight Title. The current champion is UFC Hall of Fame fighter Randy Couture. The cagy veteran and Brock Lesnar share a strong wrestling background, but Brock Lesnar has a huge advantage in reach, height, weight, and youth. Even with all his advantages, Brock Lesnar does not have the years of MMA experience that Randy Couture does.
