An exploding center-field score board and a 2006 World Series Championship banner are decorative touches that have baseball fans clamoring to the attractive U.S. Cellular Field. Located in Southside Chicago, U.S. Cellular Field – or “The Cell” as it is commonly known – is home to the MLB’s Chicago White Sox. Boasting over 40,000 seats, The Cell offers excellent sightlines no matter where you’re sitting. With numerous concession stands located throughout the ballpark, fans are treated to a wide variety of food and snacks – Chicago-style pizza, hot dogs, nachos, burgers, ice cream, vegetarian-friendly fare, and more. Check out the FUNdamentals station in left field, where fans of all ages can test their arms at the Speed Pitch Machine. Since opening in 1991, The Cell has undergone different phases of renovations that have helped to make each fan’s U.S. Cellular experience a memorable one.
