Ray Allen: Early Years
Born on July 20, 1975, Walter Ray Allen was a military child who moved around a lot during his youth; however, Ray Allen was always surrounded by sports, picking up baseball and soccer in his early years. Eventually, Ray Allen and his family made a home in South Carolina, where he would lead his Hillcrest High School basketball team to a state championship.

Ray Allen: Rookie Season
In 1996, Ray Allen entered the NBA Draft, hoping to be picked up by the Boston Celtics with the No. 6 pick. Ray Allen: Seattle Super Sonics
After a dazzling history with the Milwaukee Bucks, Ray Allen was dealt to the Seattle Sonics in the 2002-03 NBA season. Ray Allen teamed up with young gunner Rashard Lewis; the duo would eventually lead the Seattle Sonics to the Conference Semifinals in 2005. The following season, Ray Allen inked a handsome contract extension with the Seattle Super Sonics and posted a career-high 25.1 PPG along with 4.3 RPG and 3.7 APG. Ray Allen piled on numerous accolades and broke a handful of records during his time with the Seattle Sonics before undergoing season-ending ankle surgery in the 2006-07 season.
