About Enrique Iglesias

Born Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler in Madrid, Spain, Enrique Iglesias – the son of legendary Latin crooner Julio Iglesias – was destined to become a singer. However, Enrique Iglesias refused to use his famous last name to get ahead and used the name “Enrique Martinez” to land a record deal with Spanish indie label Fonovisa. In 1995, Enrique Iglesias released his Spanish-language self-titled debut, featuring the No. 1 singles “Si Tú Te Vas” and “Experiencia Religiosa.” The album won a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Performance.

Enrique Iglesias released his second Spanish-language album Vivir in 1997 to equal success. The album had three No. 1 singles "Enamorado Por Primera Vez,” "Sólo en Ti" and "Miente.” Enrique Iglesias won over fans on arena tours supporting Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel. Enrique Iglesias released Cosas del Amor in 1998. The album marked a move toward a more mature sound. Cosas del Amor produced two No. 1 hit singles “Esperanza” and “Nunca Te Olvidaré.”

In 1999, Enrique Iglesias released his English-language debut album Enrique. The album produced the No. 1 singles “Bailamos” and “Be With You,” as well as a duet with Whitney Houston called “Could I Have This Kiss Forever.” In 2001, Enrique Iglesias released Escape, featuring the singles “Hero,” “Escape” and “Don’t Turn Off The Lights.” The following year, Enrique Iglesias released the Spanish-language Quizás, producing the No. 1 singles “Para Qué La Vida,” “Mentiroso” and the self-titled track.

After appearing in the Robert Rodriguez film Once Upon A Time in Mexico, Enrique Iglesias released album Insomniac in 2007, featuring the singles “Do You Know?" and “Push.” In 2008, Enrique Iglesias released his first greatest hits album 95/08 Exitos. Enrique Iglesias shot to the top of the charts in 2011 with dance hit “I Like It.” Touring with special guests Pitbull and Prince Royce, Enrique Iglesias continued his dominance of the Pop and Latin Music, following with a tour alongside Jennifer Lopez. In support of latest album Sex and Love and single “I’m a Freak,” Enrique Iglesias will re-team with Pitbull for a 2015 worldwide tour. Order your Enrique Iglesias tickets from OnlineTickets.com!
