The Roots Tickets

The Roots Tickets

The Roots tickets have been doing well since getting the band gig for Jimmy Fallon. Formed during the modest start of the neo-soul movement, The Roots helped pioneer the neo-soul genre that has led to the success of artists like Jill Scott and Alicia Keys. With hits like “The Seed (2.0),” “Distortion to Static” and “What They Do,” it is not surprising that The Roots have been so influential in the hip-hip and neo-soul music arena.

As The Roots continue to tour the nation, prepare yourself for an electrifying live concert and witness the lyrical mastery and rhythmic grace of The Roots. Order The Roots tickets at today!

About The Roots

Formed in 1987 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The Roots began modestly, performing at local venues in Philadelphia before moving to London to perform at small venues throughout Europe. The Roots released their first studio album Organix in May 1993. Sold primarily at concerts during The Roots’ time in Europe, Organix garnered The Roots much industry buzz, laying the foundation for The Roots’ second album.

The Roots’ second studio album Do You Want More?!! was released in January 1995. While Do You Want More?!! failed to be a huge success among mainstream music, it fared well among R&B fans. The Roots’ third album Illadelph Halflife was the first album by The Roots to garner mainstream notoriety and Top 40 status. Released in 1996, Illadelph HalfLife spawned the hit “What They Do,” which reached No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the first video by The Roots to receive airtime on MTV.

Things Fall Apart released in 1999 by The Roots peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the hit single “You Got Me,” which peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 39. The Roots followed the success of Things Fall Apart with Phrenology in 2002, peaking on the Billboard 200 at No. 28.

As one of the pioneering voices in putting soul and meaning back into hip hop, The Roots have undoubtedly made a name for themselves as one of neo-soul’s must-see acts. The Roots continue to set the tour trail ablaze, so order The Roots concert tickets from today!
