About Pink

Pursuing her childhood dreams of becoming a Rock star, Pink – her real name is Alecia Beth Moore – released her debut album Can’t Take Me Home in April 2000. On the strength of hit singles “There You Go,” “Most Girls,” and “You Make Me Sick,” Can’t Take Me Home soared to multi-platinum status. In 2001, Pink teamed up with Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, and Mya to cover the Patti Labelle single “Lady Marmalade,” which topped the charts, dominated music-video channels, and snagged a Grammy Award – a first for Pink.

Not content with being labeled as a cookie-cutter Pop act, Pink took more creative control on her second album M!ssundaztood, which dropped in November 2001. Lead single “Get the Party Started” was a Top 5 hit in the U.S. and was followed by radio favorites “Just Like a Pill” and “Family Portrait.” In 2003, Pink earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Pop Vocal Album” for the M!ssundaztood and for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” for “Get the Party Started.”

Although Pink’s third album Try This paled in comparison to its predecessor, single “Trouble” would earn Pink her second Grammy. Following an extensive Try This Tour, Pink took a break and began penning songs for her fourth album I’m Not Dead. Released in April 2006, the album enjoyed Top 10 status in the U.S. and spawned the Grammy-nominated single “Stupid Girls” and other hits “Who Knew” and “U + Ur Hand.” Pink would tour in support of I’m Not Dead with the demand for Pink tickets for her Australian tour dates proving to be particularly high.

A successful solo singer, songwriter, and collaborator, Pink has been one of the hottest tickets in the Pop-Rock world. With the single “So What” and dark single “Sober”, Pink had her biggest hit to date with 2009’s Funhouse, which brought in a boatload of awards along with unmatched commercials success. 2012 saw the release of platinum album The Truth About Love and singles “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” and “Try.” With a ton of award buzz and crossover clout lighting up the world, Pink has lined up a hefty schedule of tour dates that are sure to be sell outs so order premium Pink tickets for her worldwide The Truth About Love Tour from OnlineTickets.com today!
