|Anyone know if the non Christmas shows are as good as the x-mas ones?|
|Bottom line: rosesthorn would recommend this event to their best friend|
Trans Siberian Orchestra was formed in 1996 with members Paul O’Neill, Robert Kinkel and Jon Oliva. Paul O’Neill, a manager and producer for bands such as Aerosmith, Humble Pie, Scorpions and Savatage wanted to connect his love for all music into a new sound consisting of rock, orchestra and opera. With a history of recording mostly Christmas albums, Trans Siberian Orchestra has continued to shock industry reps with their outstanding album sales and selling out Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets year after year.
With the success of their first album entitled Christmas Eve and Other Stories, Trans Siberian Orchestra went double platinum with the hit songs “A Mad Russian’s Christmas” and “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24.” Two years later, Trans Siberian Orchestra released their second platinum album The Christmas Attic that spawned the hit song “Dream Child (A Christmas Dream).” Trans Siberian Orchestra went on to record their only non-Christmas album Beethoven’s Last Night followed by the album The Lost Christmas Eve.
Trans Siberian Orchestra has received great reviews for designing a top-selling concert arrangement equipped with pyrotechnics, lasers, lights dancing to the bands music and a music arrangement consisting of at least 12 vocalists, 10 musicians, two narrators and a choir. Past and present Trans Siberian Orchestra vocalists and musicians include Jennifer Cella, Patti Russo, and Peter Shaw. Trans Siberian Orchestra has also garnered rave reviews for being a family-oriented and kid-friendly show while still appealing to the cultured and cerebral side of adults.
Bring out the eggnog and roast the chestnuts, Trans Siberian Orchestra fans because Christmas has come early!
